Ingredients and variants

CRANBERRY JUICE COCKTAIL Choose the cocktail over the regular cranberry juice as it is sweet. It’s crispy and tart, making it the best base for this fun drink!

JUICE Grapefruit juice gives this punch a bright, lemony flavor, but if it’s not available, a can of pink lemonade or frozen lemonade will do!

ALCOHOL Completely optional spirits like vodka, white rum or gin can be added as desired. For brunch (think bridal shower, etc.), sparkling wine, champagne, or sparkling cider are great choices!

Garnish

Ideal for birthday parties and baby showers, the party punch must be perfect for the party! We love freezing fruit in ice cubes (or at the bottom of a tube mold to make an ice cream ring) for a nice garnish!

Depending on the occasion, we like to add colorful garnishes: slices of orange, slices of lemon, lime, kiwi, or even strawberries, sprigs of mint or basil. For parties, float star anise pods or cinnamon sticks on top of the punch.

Turn it into a sorbet punch with a few scoops of your favorite flavor!

Punch is versatile, so play around with the ingredients to make it your own!

  • Replace grapefruit juice with pineapple juice to give it a tropical flavor.
  • Ginger can be replaced with lemon-lime soda, sprite or 7-up.
